Returns


FREE returns (applies to local deliveries only). 
Stamford.myshopislocal.co.uk returns policy has been set up to make the return experience convenient and pleasant for you and the process as easy as possible. If you have bought something by mistake or you just change your mind, you have 14 days from the day of purchase to return your purchased product FREE of charge. See below “Return process” for more details. Applies only to local deliveries - for return of national deliveries, please see section "Return of National Deliveries" below. 
For reasons of hygiene and public health, refunds and exchanges are not available for all food and hygiene products, and any items that have been used. Item(s) must be in the same condition as you received them, thus item(s) must be in its original packaging, in all original boxes, with all labels and price tags, as well as all manuals, blank warranty cards, and all accessories and documents provided by the manufacturer/supplier. If any labels are removed from the product, the return will not be accepted.
Any product returned (excluding non-returnable products) found not to be defective, can be refunded. Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be accepted for return or replacement.
After 14 days from purchase, items can only be returned if they are faulty. See below “Return process” for more details.

Return process

  1. When you realise you would like to return any of your eligible purchases please call myshopislocal.co.uk on tel. 01353 661752, state your reason for return and request a Returns Authorisation (RA) number. Please have your original purchase invoice at hand when you call.
  2. A collection of your return will be scheduled and you will be contacted by our Customer Services to agree a suitable time for us to collect your return.
  3. We will collect your return at the agreed time.
  4. We will bring your return back to the shop it was purchased from where it will be assessed and determined if the item is eligible for a full refund. As long as the item is in its original packaging and has not been damaged or used, you will receive a full refund. If there are any discrepancies, you will be contacted by our Customer Services.
  5. The purchase price will be refunded to your original payment method and is normally refunded within 2 to 3 days.
  6. If the item was returned for a replacement i.e. damage, wrong size, or similar, you will be contacted by our Customer Services to arrange a new delivery of the replacement. The shop the item was purchased from, will decide if the item is eligible for a full refund, or if the product will be repaired, replaced, or a store credit will be issued. One replacement delivery is free of charge. Thereafter (on multiple replacements of the same item) the customer will be charged a standard delivery fee.

Return of National Deliveries

  1. When you realise you would like to return any of your eligible purchases please call myshopislocal.co.uk on tel. 01353 661752, state your reason for return and request a Returns Authorisation (RA) number. Please have your original purchase invoice at hand when you call.
  2. Make sure you mark the package with the RA number and return to: My Shop is Local, 4 Fore Hill, Ely, CB6 3EE.
  3. Ensure your package is properly packaged to avoid damage in transfer.
  4. We will bring your return back to the shop it was purchased from where it will be assessed and determined if the item is eligible for a full refund. As long as the item is in its original packaging and has not been damaged or used, you will receive a full refund. If there are any discrepancies, you will be contacted by our Customer Services.
  5. The purchase price will be refunded to your original payment method and is normally refunded within 2 to 3 days.

Non-returnable
For reasons of hygiene and public health, refunds/exchanges are not available for all food and hygiene products, and any items that have been used. This does not apply to faulty goods. Faulty products will be exchanged like for like. Any faults with food products must be reported same day as delivered.
Food products are defined as anything for consumption by humans or animals.
Discounted or end of line products can only be returned for repair - no refunds of replacements will be made.

Incorrect or damaged goods
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in a pristine condition. If you do not receive your products as ordered, please contact us immediately. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact stamford.myshopislocal.co.uk immediately on tel. 01353 661752. This will be given a special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item as soon as possible. Any faults with food products must be reported same day as delivered.

Regular returners
We reserve the right to cancel any customer’s account, should they regularly return orders without any particular reason.
